About Kim

I hold an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Southern California (USC) and a master’s degree in robotics from the University of Pennsylvania. Currently, I am an adjunct lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania teaching ESE519: Real-time Embedded Systems. I also work with F1TENTH Autonomous Racing where I lead, organize, and manage projects and events in addition to maintaining and updating the platform’s hardware and software.

My primary professional interests lie in embedded systems, STEM education, and printed circuit board (PCB) design. I am available for contract work and consulting on STEM curriculum development from the K-12 level to higher education. Send me an email to start the conversation.

Outside of engineering, I bake copious amount of naturally leavened bread and practice ashtanga.
